In 1984 Costas Kakaniaris leaves University in order to deal exclusively with finishing and repairing of musical instruments. Twenty five years and about seven thousand instruments later, he designs and builds the JOKER guitars.The dream of a life comes true! During all this years of occupation in this area, he had the chance to see remarkable instruments, to observe and study them and also to meet great musicians and hear their opinions about the sound they seek.He has also cooperated with the best builders of musical instuments of his time, regarding the finishing. The JOKER guitars are the "extract" of his rich experience and much more of his love for vintage instruments and vintage sound.
