The restoration of an early‭ '‬70s Strat body

From a professional musician‭, ‬came this early‭ ' ‬70s hardtail‭, ‬heavy ash‭, ‬Strat body‭.‬
It was originally finished in 3-tone sunburst‭. ‬The idea was to restore it to its previous glory‭. ‬Unfortunately the guitar played for many years stripped down to bare wood‭, ‬so heavy stains from sweat and dirt were on the back‭. ‬After chemical elaboration the stains weakend but the impression still remained‭. ‬The chosen finish was nitro over poly like the original‭.
